Rigatoni and Spareribs
Courtesy of Alice May Macdonald Yield: 10 to 12 Servings Ingredients - 2 - 4 lbs Johnston’s Side Ribs (Pork Buttons)
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- ½ Large Onion, chopped
- Approx. 3 - 4 lbs Grated Old Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Cans (5 ox) Tomato Paste
- 1 ½ - 2 Pkg Rigatoni or Shell Noodles
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- Dash of Garlic Powder
- 2 cans (28 oz) Stewed Tomatoes
- 2 tsp Oregano
Cooking Directions - Bake spare ribs in roasting pan until cooked.
- In a large pot (Dutch oven) fry onions in oil until soft.
- Add tomatoes, paste, oregano, Italian seasoning.
- Boil rigatoni and mix well.
- Place in oven to warm.
