Rigatoni and Spareribs

Yield: 10 to 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 - 4 lbs Johnston’s Side Ribs (Pork Buttons)
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • ½ Large Onion, chopped
  • Approx. 3 - 4 lbs Grated Old Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Cans (5 ox) Tomato Paste
  • 1 ½ - 2 Pkg Rigatoni or Shell Noodles
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Dash of Garlic Powder
  • 2 cans (28 oz) Stewed Tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Oregano

Cooking Directions

  1. Bake spare ribs in roasting pan until cooked.
  2. In a large pot (Dutch oven) fry onions in oil until soft.
  3. Add tomatoes, paste, oregano, Italian seasoning.
  4. Boil rigatoni and mix well.
  5. Place in oven to warm.
