Sausage and Mushroom Stuffing
Ingredients
3 Tbsp
Butter or Margarine
1
Large Onion, minced
½ Cup
Chopped Mushrooms
¾ lb
Pork Sausage Meat
1 Cup
Minced Ham
Black Pepper
3
Eggs, slightly beaten
1 Cup
Fine Fresh Bread Crumbs
¾ Cup
Chicken Broth or Dry White Wine
3 Tbsp
Chopped Parsley
¾ tsp
Salt
Cooking Directions
Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter until soft.
Add pork and sauté until meat leaves raw look.
Add ham and cook for a few minutes. Cool.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Note: if using chick broth instead of white wine eliminate ¾ tsp of salt
May be cooked in a casserole dish covered 1 hour while meat is cooking.
