Sweet and Sour Spareribs
Courtesy of Alice May Macdonald Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients - 1 ½ lbs Johnston’s Spareribs
- ½ Cup Water
- ¼ Cup Vinegar
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ Cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
Cooking Directions - Flour spareribs and fry quickly.
- Pour sauce over ribs and simmer, covered for 1 hour at 350°F.
- Thicken sauce with 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
- Add pineapple chunks, if desired.
