Sweet and Sour Spareribs

Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs Johnston’s Spareribs
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ¼ Cup Vinegar
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch

Cooking Directions

  1. Flour spareribs and fry quickly.
  2. Pour sauce over ribs and simmer, covered for 1 hour at 350°F.
  3. Thicken sauce with 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
  4. Add pineapple chunks, if desired.
