On September 24th and 25th, the PNE Forum will unite bacon lovers of all sorts for an epic convention, otherwise known as a piggy paradise called Bacon Con. The event, created by the Bacon Appreciation Society, will be Vancouver’s first ever bacon convention. Yes, you read that right. It will feature over 100 booths serving food and drink with the star ingredient: crispy sizzling bacon. You can expect to see a variety of vendors, including local favorites Johnston’s Pork and Cheeses Crust food truck.

The 19+ event will also feature beer because, let’s face it, booze and bacon make for the perfect combo. Aside from tasting a variety of cured meats, guests can also participate in contests, activities, and raffles, including a “Free Bacon for a Year” contest. Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir mug and 2 sample tickets to get you started on munching your way through the fest! Tickets are available through their website or at the door.

Bacon Con will be held from 2 PM to 10 PM on September 24th and from 11 AM to 7 PM on September 25th. So, if bacon is your bae, look out for these 10 must-try food and drink offerings:
