It was another fantastic event this past weekend at the 2nd annual Cowboy Cookoff – BBQ Competition at the Cloverdale Rodeo!
Congratulations to the Grand Champions of the 2013 Cowboy Cookoff – Prairie Smoke and Spice;
Smokin’ Babes coming in 1st place for Pork;
Rocky Mountain Smokers came in 1st place in Battle Bacon with Johnston’s sponsored Rub My Butt came in an impressive 3rd place;
The Barking Boys BBQ Team won the King of the Grill – to all congratulations!
Huge thanks to all the teams that competed with the Queen of Q, Angie Quaale of Well Seasoned, taking reign of this awesome competition and of course doing a pork chop grilling demo to teach us how NOT to overcook pork π
We are officially recovering from a bacon coma however next year can’t come fast enough! π
