Shelby Prodeahl, an apprentice cook at the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn, under Executive Chef, Bill Schildpatt, has won the Gold Medal at the Provincial Canadian Skills Competition, held in Abbotsford, BC on April 20, 2011.

Shelby has won the right to represent British Columbia at the National Skills Competition, in Culinary Arts, to be held in Quebec City,  June 1–4, 2011 in the“Skills Competences Canada”, a Skills Competition  that actively promotes careers in skilled trades and technologies to Canadian youth.

Johnston’s would like to wish the best of luck to our GOLD winning Junior Chef Shelby Prodeahl as she competes in Quebec!
