Well Seasoned Arrives in the Township
Foodies from the Fraser Valley and beyond can rejoice: the much loved Well Seasoned gourmet food store is relocating and expanding to the Township of Langley.
2014 marks 10 incredible years of business for Well Seasoned. In the past decade owner Angie Quaale and her store have become nationally-recognized for forecasting foodie trends, carrying cutting edge ingredients for the culinary world, and offering popular cooking classes (often taught by celebrity chefs).
Now with her second decade of business launching, Quaale is set to take the store’s offerings to the next level at her new location when the store moves to #117 – 20353, 64 Avenue, on August 25. The new storefront aims to be open Labour Day weekend.
Well Seasoned is a foodie’s paradise: the well-stocked store carries the finest in gourmet foods with a specialty in hard-to-find ingredients, spices, sauces, condiments and cookware. The store also sports an in-store kitchen for weekly cooking classes.
The new location will expand class sizes with a new kitchen and class space created with the most up to date cooking equipment and individualized learning stations.
With the new classroom, the Well Seasoned team will be able to offer a much upgraded experience for classes, making them fully hands on and interactive. Well Seasoned will also be offering a series of corporate team building menus this Fall. From a practical standpoint, in addition to more interior space, there will be more customer parking, making the store experience comfortable and easy.
And speaking of the parking lot … in addition to her store, Angie Quaale has earned a reputation across North America for her BBQ prowess, and for hosting BBQ on the Bypass (one of Canada’s premiere BBQ events) in the store’s parking lot for the past eight years. Since the store will not be located ON the Bypass anymore, the event will be called BBQ *OFF* the Bypass. Mark your calendar and save the date now for September 14. More information will follow.
According to Gary MacKinnon, Economic Development Manager for the Township of Langley “Not only is the Township of Langley gaining a great business, we are also gaining a savvy, innovative, and very personable business owner in Angie Quaale. Last year, Angie received the George Preston Memorial Business Person of the Year award from the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce. The winning combination of great owner plus great business is exactly what the Township of Langley is striving for with respect to our business attraction strategy!”
