Simmer covered ribs in enough salted water to cover, until nearly tender, about 1 hour.
Pre-heat oven to 300°F.
Meanwhile prepare sauce. In a saucepan, melt butter, add garlic and cook 4-5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except lemon slices. Bring to a boil.
Drain ribs, place in a shallow pan, pour half of the boiling sauce over ribs.
Bake at 300°F for 20-30 minutes. Baste every 10 minutes with remaining sauce.
Plate ribs and garnish with lemon slices. Serve with desired sides, such as rice & roasted vegetables.
