Rhonda’s Wonder Chili
Canadian Festival of Chili & BBQ 2019 Winning Chili Recipe by Rhonda
  1. Brown ground pork and beef in small batches. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sautee peppers, onions and chilies.
  3. Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add seasonings. Stir till blended then add all meats.
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer. Cook about 2 hours stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste. Add salt if needed. If more heat is needed add cayenne (be careful).
  7. If adding beans add 30 minutes before serving.
  8. 15 minutes before serving, squeeze the juice of the lime.
Recipe Notes

All chili powders can be substituted for your own brand. The ones
used here are typical Texas powders. Just use equal amounts of yours for
the recipe.
