Sausage and Mushroom Stuffing

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat
  2. Add onions, mushrooms, and celery to the pan and sauté until tender
  3. Add Johnston’s Farmer Sausage & Johnston’s Ham and sauté for a few minutes. Cool
  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix well to use as stuffing; should be moist but not soggy
  5. OR pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in preheated 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue cooking until the top turns nice and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  6. *If using chicken broth instead of white wine, use only 1/2 tsp salt
