In a large bowl, mix very well the ground pork, egg, 1 cup BBQ sauce and BBQ rub. In a large baking pan, form a loaf that is 6-inches wide and 3-inches high. Paint meatloaf with ¼ cup of BBQ sauce and sprinkle ¼ cup of the sweet and savoury BBQ rub on top. Cover entire meatloaf with bacon shingled. Place in preheated smoked until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest of 15 minutes. Cut meatloaf into 1-inch thick slices and serve. Sweet and Savoury BBQ Rub 1.
