Preheat oven to 350°F
Place a piece of parchment paper between a cookie sheet and a cooling rack
Arrange bacon on cooling rack ensuring the bacon slices are not touching each other
Brush maple syrup over bacon slices
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the coated bacon
Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until bacon is fully cooked and sugar has a soft candied look
Remove from oven and cool
Great as a sweet garnish or to add into baking breads and desserts
