Bacon Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup diced bacon rendered out and drained
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 4 oz butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup hazelnuts roasted, peeled & chopped
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes till syrupy
  • The mixture will thicken as it cools
  • Serve warm or cold.
