Maui Pork Sliders with Grilled Pineapple & Bourbon Bacon

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 fresh pineapple slices
  • 16 slices bourbon bacon
  • 4 slices apple smoked cheddar halved
  • dijon mustard
  • mayonnaise

Patties

  • 1/3 lb Ground BC Beef
  • 1/3 lb Johnston's Ground Pork
  • 1/3 lb Johnston’s Bacon diced
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak spice
  • 1 Tbsp red onion diced
  • 1/4 cup Maui sauce

Bourbon Bacon - Marinate for 24 hours

  • 16 slices Johnston’s Bacon
  • 1 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Bourbon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Maui Sauce

  • 2 cups soya sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped

Instructions
 

  • Grill Patties, Bourbon Bacon, and Pineapple Slices.
  • Brush with Maui Sauce.
  • Place sliced cheese on patties.
  • Assemble slider.
